The East Knox Bulldogs were narrowly defeated 54–50 in a closely contested home game against the Ridgedale Rockets in varsity boys’ basketball. Despite a strong effort from the Bulldogs, the Rockets maintained their lead in the final minutes to secure a four-point victory.
The game was held on December 8 at East Knox High School. According to reports, East Knox battled throughout the night, keeping the score close with strong offensive plays and effective defensive stops. However, despite a late push, the Bulldogs could not overcome the Rockets’ timely scoring, resulting in one of their closest games of the early season.
Looking ahead, East Knox will return home on Saturday, December 13 for a non-conference matchup against Granville Christian Academy. The two teams did not meet last season; however, both are seeking their first win of the 2025–26 season, with each team currently holding a record of 0–2.
