The East Knox Bulldogs fell to the Fredericktown Freddies 73–42 in a boys varsity basketball conference game. Despite the setback, East Knox continued to compete and gain experience against a strong conference opponent.
According to reports, the game took place on January 16 at Fredericktown High School. East Knox faced a challenging road match as Fredericktown established control early and maintained momentum throughout. The Bulldogs attempted to generate offense but struggled against Fredericktown’s defensive pressure and efficient scoring. Despite these challenges, East Knox remained competitive through all four quarters, gaining valuable experience against one of the conference’s top teams. The defeat came against an undefeated Fredericktown squad playing confidently on its home court.
East Knox is set to return home to host Centerburg in a boys varsity basketball conference game on January 23.
During their last game, the East Knox varsity basketball team dropped a home non-conference matchup to Fredericktown on January 17, 2025, falling by a final score of 73–61.
